Idris our Shepherds Hut is newly built from recycled materials. He sits in seclusion in his own three acre meadow with stunning mountain views overlooking the Cambrian Mountains that come from being 1300ft up! You have a private hard standing car park area, large gas BBQ, an undercover camp kitchen with utensils and crockery, fridge, seating and firepit. You have a large firepit brazier and big sack of logs with marshmallows!  Perfect for star gazing beneath the Milky Way...


Inside whilst sipping a morning coffee at the breakfast bar, the big windows look down the valley. You get the same view from your bed! The super comfortable memory foam double bed will be made ready, with electric blanket and hot water bottles to keep cosy for chilly nights. You might want to bring wellies and waterproofs as the grass is long at this time of year but also sun cream and shades, as Idris is south facing. Finally, a welcome hamper will greet you with homemade lemon drizzle cake. We also offer a pre-order service with our local butcher and baker.

 

Outside you have the fabulous wood fired Swedish bath. Perfect to relax at the end of a day exploring the lovely local area or hiking our mountains, wild swimming or mountain biking.

*We are a members only camp/glamp site with the Greener Camping club. A wonderful organisation of eco campsites. Only 1 person per booking needs to be a member which I can do for you as part of booking process (£12 per year).

Highly recommended!! This was honestly a very wonderful stay and there is nothing at all I could fault. It was like staying with a relative, Suzi made us feel so at home and the attention to detail was impeccable. The hut and all surrounding areas were immaculate, beautifully decorated and you had everything you could possibly need!

The views really are outstanding. We enjoyed our stay so much that on our way home we have booked to stay again in a few months time. On arrival, Suzi gave us some great recommendations close by for amazing food and places to see in the surrounding areas.

We were welcomed by a lovely thought out hamper and the best homemade lemon drizzle cake I have ever tasted! The products are all eco friendly, which I particularly loved and the hot tub is a fantastic touch with views across the valley. 

Suzi welcomed us up to the farmhouse where we petted some newly born lambs. She is the best, most accommodating host you could ask for. Thanks for such a great stay...

An amazing experience for a family with young children. The site is gorgeous and peaceful. The domes are incredible, spacious and cozy, with everything we needed for a fun and relaxing family getaway. Suzi is a fantastic host who made us feel welcome and comfortable. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to return!
