Daisy Bell Tent

Hidden in the camping meadow is our beautiful Daisy Bell Tent. She sits on a lovely large pitch at far end of meadow for privacy, with a self contained log kitchen diner. Fire pit, log seating, coal BBQ and fairy lights surrounding. A welcome hamper will greet you with homemade lemon drizzle cake.

Inside the roomy 5 metre bell tent you’ll find everything you need - a proper memory foam double bed, 2 single beds all with bedding if required – set up can be altered to suit – we have a dog bed for dog guests! There’s fluffy towels, hot water bottles perfect just in case of chilly nights, storage and seating. Included are logs, firelighters and marshmallows plus picnic blanket and extra blankets for stargazing around the campfire.

In the private kitchen diner, you’ll find a gas stove, pots/pans, drinking water, cutlery and crockery, tea, coffee and a cool box. A family sized picnic bench. Outdoor recliners & cushions. Plus theres a fridge and freezer a short walk away in our barn – charge phones here too.

As the meadow is car free for peace and safety for all our guests there’s a large standing car park area beside the toilets and showers with wheelbarrows to bring your gear to the tent.

You might want to bring wellies and waterproofs as the grass can be wet in the morning but also sun cream and shades, as at 1300ft it can get hot on sunny days!

Walking boots are a good idea as we have many public footpaths and farm paths to explore. Perfect to relax at the end of a day exploring the lovely local area or hiking our mountains, wild swimming or mountain biking.

Dog guests – we politely ask our lovely dog guests to not sleep on the bed & to stay on their leads on campsite and farm as we have lots of sheep neighbours which can be tempting to chase! And other campers can be dog wary. Plus our meadow grass off the mown paths makes finding ‘number2’s’ very tricky to find! We thank you & your humans for assisting us…

Note: We open March and close in November - exact dates vary according to weather.

What our guests say...

We loved our stay so much we had to come back! Thank you for giving us a perfect (and much needed!) break. Of all the quirky and unique places we have stayed this is our favourite! Every little detail perfect, comfortable and impeccably clean! It was lovely not seeing a soul other than the amazing wildlife and the times we did see Suzi she was the perfect host!  PS – the lemon drizzle cake was fabulous!

Thank you so much for making our get away so special. The cabin and views - wow! Spectacular! Hot tub was wonderful! The location is perfect - what a sunrise to wake up to! The customer service before arrival 10/10 😊. Thanks again!

What a truly special place! A haven of tranquillity, the perfect place to come and reconnect, relax and unwind. We loved all the little touches – you’ve thought of everything! We will most certainly be back!

This little place really does have everything, I am in awe of what you’ve achieved here, done with so much imagination and great use of recycled materials. Thank you for being so welcoming. We had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed our outdoor bath under the stars.

Thank you for a lovely stay – we enjoyed every second and didn’t want to leave! Special thank you to Suzi for truly being one of the best hosts we have come across! You really have such a heaven here and I’m not just talking about the lemon drizzle cake!!

The site is situated in the hills a short drive from Llanidloes. We were greeted by the amazing host Suzi and her Dad and shown around by Suzi who explained everything to us. We had booked the 2 geodomes which are equipped with everything you could possibly need.

Everything about Belan bluebell Woods is magic. Such an experience for the kids. Starry skies. Hands-on experience with sheep and they make mean woodfired pizzas!

This is our annual return visit, recommend it to all of our friends, these guys go the extra mile...

Shepherds Hut review. I worked with Suzi to make my proposal to my now fiancé (she said yes!!) absolutely magical. Nothing was too much trouble. I think she was as emotional as we were.
