Geo Domes

Hidden in our camping wild flower meadow are our 2 NEW geo-domes offering all the fun of camping in extra comfort whatever the weather! Whether its a romantic weekend for 2 or a family adventure with a 4 legged friend, these generous 6m domes offer plenty of room to relax.


Inside you'll find a scandi-feel stunning oak kingside bed with memory foam mattress made up with top quality bedding, towels and cosy blankets. Theres also a double bed again with memory foam mattress which is our standard set up -extra beds can be made up for families on request.


Unwind in style in your relaxing chairs sat beside your huge pano window overlooking the meadow.  When they’re fitted (before Autumn) your wood fired stove is perfect after a day exploring, adding comfort on a cooler night as you tuck into your welcome hamper lemon drizzle cake!


Outside theres a fire pit and log seating for awesome stargazing, a fabulous undercover fairy light lit camp kitchen eating area, with picnic bench, gas stove, pots pans utensils, tea and coffee, cool box, fridge/freezer in our barn, private eco-loo and shared hot shower shacks.


On Friday we usually have a communal wood-fired pizza night and during holidays there's kids evening games and animal feeding - hope you can come!

We loved our stay so much we had to come back! Thank you for giving us a perfect (and much needed!) break. Of all the quirky and unique places we have stayed this is our favourite! Every little detail perfect, comfortable and impeccably clean! This little place really does have everything, I am in awe of what you’ve achieved here, done with so much imagination and great use of recycled materials. Thank you for being so welcoming. We had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed our outdoor bath under the stars.

But now you won’t be disappointed. Belan Bluebell Wood deserves more than a 5 star review. My friend and I booked this for our annual family trip and could not have asked for more. 

The site is situated in the hills a short drive from Llanidloes. We were greeted by the amazing host Suzi and her Dad and shown around by Suzi who explained everything to us. We had booked the 2 geodomes which are equipped with everything you could possibly need. 

There was a pizza making evening on our first night and everyone came together around a fire pit to make pizza and socialise. It was so much fun for the kids and adults. The domes were cosy and the beds were so comfy I had to ask where the mattress was from. The showers were clean and the water was hot. The compost toilets were a new experience but were clean and weirdly didn’t smell. 

Our families go away together every year but always book somewhere new because we like to explore and try new things. Belan Bluebell Woods was so amazing we booked again for next year before we’d even left. I can’t recommend this place highly enough!
